Did you know almost every new skate parent feels lost during the first year when their child becomes a skater?
If you are new to the skating world it can be quite overwhelming at times. Do not fret! This page is just for you…
Let’s start with the basics.
What You Need:
- Gloves or mittens.
- Skates must be laced properly.
- Helmets are recommended.
- Skaters should wear long pants or tights and a light sweater or jacket. (No jeans please, it restricts movement)
- Thin socks are much better than thick socks. It’s best to have to skate fit to the foot and not to the sock.
